The house is located in Mesa Vourgo, a protected medieval neighbourhood, directly below the eastern walls of the 16th century Venetian castle that overlooks the main town of Hora. In this labyrinthine old part of the town, guests will find a treasure trove of history in the form of traditional Kythiran houses, old mansions and over a dozen churches, some dating to the 14th and 15th centuries.
The castle itself is the best preserved on the island, built in the 13th century and restored by the Venetians in 1503. The view from its walls is quite amazing. Just a short walk from the house, guests will find themselves in the charming main square of Hora, with its shops and cafés.

Description
Recently renovated, the property is located in a quiet setting and offers a genuine island living experience in one of the most historic parts of Kythira. It comprises the two-storey main house and a ground-floor guest house, each with independent entrance, covering a total area of 135 m2.
The main house has two double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and the master bedroom on the upper level, each with en suite bathroom. Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, the living room with fireplace and the fully equipped kitchen are attractively combined in an open-plan layout. Outside the main house there is a laundry room for use by guests of all three residences.
