This stylish and tastefully appointed beach house is nestled in a gorgeous hillside setting overlooking the sea on the south coast of the island. It stands on 3.6 hectares of private land with its own vineyard that produces a fine organic wine. Although secluded, with unobstructed views of Milos and just a 5 minute walk to a fabulous sandy beach that is considered one of the best on Serifos, the house is only 4 kilometres from the main harbour with its shops and tavernas. Located in an area of exceptional natural beauty, Kalo Ambeli is ideal not only for adults seeking tranquillity, especially if they are into yoga or meditation, but also for youngsters who can blast their music without disturbing the neighbours.

Arriving at the beach house, you will be welcomed and shown around by the friendly Indian caretaker and his wife. Accommodation is in three adjacent but separate buildings, giving guests even greater privacy. Entering the house, you find yourself in a spacious living/dining area. This open-plan space opens through French doors onto the main veranda with seating for at least 10 and a magnificent sea view, the perfect spot to watch the sun go down and star gazing. Right beside the main living room is a large kitchen that opens onto a shaded patio that is ideal for relaxing and dining. In this part of the house there is also a WC/shower room for guests. Directly below the veranda is the impressive swimming pool.
The building to the right of the patio houses the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. This commodious bedroom receives plenty of natural light through several windows affording wonderful views of the sea and extensive garden. While the other building, which looks onto the main veranda and has French doors opening onto the garden, has been tastefully transformed into a double bedroom with en-suite shower.
A few steps down from the main veranda is a smaller one on the same level as the pool. Two separate entrances provide access to the children’s accommodation... the ‘blue room’ with bunk beds and the ‘pink room’ with two single beds. The bathroom is conveniently situated between these two rooms.
Just below the smaller veranda is a delightful patio with a coffee table, chairs and the entrance to a charming room with en suite bathroom and shower. A truly romantic hideaway, there is a double bed in an elevated part of the room, which offers an enchanting view of both the garden and the sea.
