This idyllic mountain retreat is located at an altitude of 990 m. outside the traditional picturesque village of Pavliani. The village, which marks the entrance to Oiti National Park, is divided into two parts, Ano (upper) and Kato (lower), just 2 km. apart.
This new unexpected addition of Bear Lake Lodge to the farm's accommodation has been placed in one of the best viewing locations on the 2.5-hectare Vasilikia Mountain Farm, a unique year-round getaway. Which means guests are within easy reach of Mt. Parnassos’ two ski centres, the marvellous beach at Asproneri and of course the UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological site of Delphi. The perfect base for exploration, discovery and outdoor activities in a pristine alpine landscape of outstanding natural beauty, the location is easily accessed by road from Athens (about 2½ hours) or by train.

Bear Lake Lodge, with clear influences from Big Bear Lake, the premier four-season vacation destination in Southern California marks its distinctive characteristics in the farm from its exterior appearance with the singular color and spacious verandas, its front appearance with glass windows offering sweeping view of the fir forest, the bathtub and the easy flow interior no door interiors, create an idyllic picture of a Cabin Lodge, where today’s busy city dwellers can find a haven for a relaxing forest break.
With a total floor space of 50 m2, the lodge features a forest lounge aesthetics sitting area. It consists of a separate kitchen space with refrigerator and cooker (hotplates and oven), king-size bed, hanging wardrobe, bathroom with bath tub. The outdoors space, has a parking space and an inviting sun deck with two outdoor tables for six where guests can take in the amazing view.
The farm’s greenhouse and vegetable plot provide organically grown tomatoes, potatoes, corn, etc., while dozens of trees offer guests a wide choice of fresh fruit. In addition to sheep and goats, there are ducks, pheasants and turkeys on the farm, as well as geese wandering freely. Kids in particular will love the friendly animals, especially Tony the horse. Apart from the owner himself, who spends most of his time on the farm, there is also a congenial couple ready to provide any assistance around the clock.
