This impressive residence stands in the centre of the charming village of Oxylithos on the east side of Evia. The village lies on the slopes of a high conical hill from which it takes its name. Perched on top of the hill is a lovely church that affords a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside and the blue Aegean as far as Skopelos. The convenient location of the house means guests are within easy walking distance of a mini-market, bakery, grocery, coffee shops and tavernas. It is also just a short drive to the nearest beach and the attractive port town of Kymi, which offers ferry connections to the Sporades islands. There are some excellent walks in the nearby countryside and interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, including the famous 11th century Mantzari monastery.

Built almost 150 years ago, the two-storey house has been lovingly renovated and redecorated throughout, but with utmost respect for the original character and beauty that gives the residence its unique aura.
Accessed from the garden, the ground floor has two double bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower. Each bedroom has a small TV and a balcony facing the street. On the same level there is a laundry room.
The centrally heated upper floor features a spacious living room with 8-seat dining table, two corner sofas with fold-out beds (1.40 x 2m), two fireplaces and TV. This floor provides access to the front balcony with street view and the back balcony overlooking the garden. Here too is the master bedroom with independent entrance, double bed, en suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, TV and its own balcony looking onto the garden. This floor also has a small but functional kitchen accessed from the living room.
The inviting, well-tended garden has a 10-seat dining table, three comfortable outdoor recliners, built seating, an old built oven, sink and BBQ.
