Location
The villa stands in a spectacular setting overlooking a secluded stretch of coast, in the community of Makria Myti in the southwest corner of Paros. The sea is right in front of the house and can be easily accessed by adults. Alternatively, there are two beaches just a short walk away, one small and quiet, the other at the picturesque fishing village of Alyki, sheltered from the winds and busier. The location offers not only privacy and tranquillity, but also the opportunity to experience life on a cosmopolitan Aegean island, with the many attractions and amenities of the main town, Parikia, within easy reach. In addition to a choice of local tavernas serving fresh seafood and traditional cuisine, there are plenty of activities in the vicinity, including windsurfing, kite boarding, scuba diving, tennis, horse riding, trekking, even yoga classes.
Description
Built on two levels, the villa affords sweeping views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The architectural design is in the traditional Aegean island style, with clean, simple lines yet at the same time modern.
The master bedroom with en-suite shower room is on the ground floor, along with two more double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large storeroom. In the master bedroom there is an additional sofa bed. The comfortable living room with large windows and a fireplace is on the upper level, next to the open-plan dining area and fully equipped kitchen. All the interior spaces are bright and airy, tastefully decorated and furnished.
The spacious verandas around the villa, some parts shaded, afford marvellous views at any time of year, while the large swimming pool appears to merge with the sea. The pool area, just below the house, is the perfect spot for enjoying the magnificent sunset while sipping a refreshing cocktail before taking a leisurely dip under the stars.
