Location
The island of Kythira is part of the Ionian island group, but is quite isolated, at the foot of the Peloponnese, between the Ionian and the Aegean Seas. The residence is located in the medieval village of Aroniadika in the center of the island and 5mins away from Potamos.
Description
The house is built in a large terrace and consists of 2 separate 2-floor complexes sharing a common patio covering a total area of 600m2. The first building features a living room a dining room a kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms, a small kitchenette, a/c and a bathroom upstairs. Adjacent to the first building but independent, on the ground floor consists of another double bedroom with en-suite shower/bathroom.
The second building/ground floor features a spacious living room, 2 build-in sofas with fireplace a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen with its dining table which seats 8 people, an outdoor sitting and dining area in the garden overlooking surrounding nature and the blue strip of sea coast visible to the south and east. On the 1st floor there is one master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, a/c and a walk-in closet. A second guest room with 2 single beds (which shares the master bedroom´s bathroom).
Both buildings are connected via an outdoor common patio.
Externally, each building was built in line with local traditional architectural style, while internally it is fully furnished and carefully decorated with selected art objects.
