The villa stands on a hillside in a quiet, secluded location on the east side of the island. Its elevated position affords sweeping views of the sparkling blue Aegean and the nearby islands of Kythnos, Andros and Evia, while the sunrises are truly majestic. The short drive to the picturesque main town of Ioulis means guests can alternate between the privacy and tranquillity of the villa’s natural setting and the tavernas, cafes and shops of a car-free Cycladic hillside village.

Built using local stone, the villa blends seamlessly into the landscape. It consists of two detached residences on two different levels, separated by a swimming pool on a large expanse of private land (4,000 m2) on three levels, lush with oak trees and native plants. Designed by the architect owner with respect for the island’s rich architectural legacy, the villa features a unique combination of traditional and minimalist elements. Even in summer, the stone construction of the residences ensures cool interiors, well ventilated by carefully positioned windows.

The main residence has one double bedroom (queen-size bed) and a second bedroom with two single beds that can either be used as a double or 2 singles, each with its own bathroom/WC. This second bedroom is accessed either directly from the main bedroom or from outside via a separate entrance with sliding doors. The comfortable lounge has a large sofa and fireplace, while a cosy dining area adjoins the fully equipped kitchen and a guest W/C with shower. Outdoors dining area is in a wind-protected area with majestic views.
The guest house consists of a sitting room with a ceiling fan and fireplace, in which there is also a queen-size double bed. There is also an outdoor shower and a kitchenette with direct access to the pool area, where a table and benches in the shade of an oak tree provide another option for cool, al fresco dining.
In addition to the two main houses which are listed, additional 2 guests could be accommodated in a small room (10 m2) with a large single bed, which is accessible from outside and below the guest house and at the detached residence at the entrance to the property with a single bed, en suite bathroom and comfortable outdoor sitting area, only upon request and at extra cost.
